The Aminogam products contain sodium salt of hyaluronic acid 1.2% and selected amino acids 2% leading to collagen formation. This novel combination is scientifically proven to accelerate wound healing, promote angiogenesis and stimulates fibroblasts. These products have been beneficial to patients in multiple oral pathology requiring pain relief and rapid wound healing.
Aminogam® accelerates wound healing, promotes angiogenesis and the release of VEGF by fibroblasts, and therefore may be successfully used in treatment of several oral pathological conditions in which accelerated repair of the surgical solution is of benefit for the patient.

Arestin® (minocycline HCl) Microspheres, 1 mg is a concentrated, locally applied antibiotic to aid in patients with chronic periodontal disease. The innovative microsphere technology that comes with Arestin® allows the antibiotic to remain active in an infected periodontal pocket for an extended period of time. Once Arestin® is inserted into the pocket, its microspheres immediately adhere to the surrounding surfaces, providing a sustained release of minocycline at the site of active infection.
Arestin® is proven to target the red complex bacteria associated with periodontal disease and will help fight infection better than professional dental hygiene alone.
In patients with pockets of 5mm or more, bleeding on probing and localized inflammation that cannot be controlled with SRP alone, Arestin® is the solution. Arestin® is the most conservative approach to periodontal disease treatment prior to surgery.
Key Features:
No premixing or premeasuring required
No local anesthesia required
No refrigeration necessary
No adhesive necessary
No dressing necessary
No removal, Arestin® microspheres are completely bioresorbable
Dentist or dental hygienist can place Arestin®
Clinical benefits:
Data suggests no significant increase of minocycline-resistant bacteria
Convenience of an in-office treatment with no pills to take
Important Safety information:
Patients are not to take Arestin® if allergic to minocycline or tetracyclines.
The use of tetracycline class drugs, including Arestin®, during tooth development may cause permanent discoloration of the teeth, and therefore should not be used in children or in pregnant or nursing women.
Arestin® has not been studied in patients with weakened immune systems (such as patients with HIV infections or diabetes, or those receiving chemotherapy or radiation).
In clinical studies, the most frequently reported non-dental side effects were headache, infection, flu symptoms, and pain.

Geistlich Bio-Gide® Compressed has a smoother surface, a firmer feel and is easier to cut.
Like Geistlich Bio-Gide®, Geistlich Bio-Gide® Compressed does not need to be removed, it is a resorbable collagen membrane.
Long-term data over 12 to 14 years show predictable results of GBR treatments with Geistlich Bio-Oss® and Geistlich Bio-Gide®.
Geistlich Bio-Gide® Compressed is simple to handle and provides ease of application:
Measure the defect with a periodontal probe
Trim the dry collagen membrane to the desired shape and size
Apply dry with the rough side facing the defect
Moisten the membrane in situ with blood from the defect
Geistlich Bio-Gide® Compressed is available in two convenient sizes:
Geistlich Bio-Gide® is the leading collagen membrane in North America for oral tissue regeneration. It is used in combination with a bone substitute such as Geistlich Bio-Oss® or Geistlich Bio-Oss Collagen®. Geistlich Bio-Gide® integrates with surrounding tissues to protect the initial coagulum. With its unique bilayer structure, Geistlich Bio-Gide® not only prevents ingrowth of soft tissue into the augmented site, but then optimally degrades to allow for the cascade of biologic events leading to regeneration.
Geistlich Bio-Gide® is naturally resorbable therefore a second surgery for removal of the membrane is not required. As it simplifies the surgical technique, and exhibits excellent wound healing properties, Geistlich Bio-Gide® has fundamentally changed dental bone regeneration.
Leading clinicians rely on Geistlich Bio-Gide® for:
Excellent tissue integration and undisturbed bone regeneration compared to using a bone substitute alone
Native collagen structure results in fewer dehiscences compared with other available membranes
Fully resorbable, no second surgery required for membrane removal
Predictable outcomes in the esthetic zone
Long-term data demonstrates predictable results in Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) treatments when Geistlich Bio-Gide® is used in combination with Geistlich Bio-Oss®
Indications:
Augmentation around implants placed in immediate and delayed extraction sockets
Localized ridge augmentation for later implantation
Alveolar ridge reconstruction for prosthetic treatment
Filling of bone defects after root resection, cystectomy, removal of retained teeth
GBR in dehiscence defects; and GTR procedures in periodontal defects
Application of Geistlich Bio-Gide® is easy:
Measure the defect with a periodontal probe
Trim the dry collagen membrane to the desired shape and size
Apply dry with the rough side facing the defect
Moisten the membrane in situ with blood from the defect
Geistlich Bio-Gide® is available in three convenient sizes:
13 x 25 mm
25 x 25 mm
40 x 50 mm
